There are so many reasons that might prompt you to look for a counsellor. It is incredibly important that you feel comfortable and safe enough to talk about the most difficult and painful issues affecting you. I aim to create an environment where we can work collaboratively to build the trust and relationship that will enable this to happen, allowing you to speak freely and confidentially, without fear of judgement.

Sometimes experiences, whether these stem from early childhood or current situations, can have a profound effect on how you are experiencing day-to-day life. I am of the firm belief that change is possible. My role is to help you identify the difficulties and navigate a path through.

As a fully qualified Integrative counsellor, I work with a number of theoretical models; Psychodynamic Theory, the Person Centred approach and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I will determine which approach is the most appropriate depending on your needs.
